Telematic systems
As a high percentage of braking defects are only found during a braking performance test, trailers can be fitted with an electronic braking performance system so you can monitor in-service braking performance and provide braking performance reports for safety inspections.
EBPMS reports how the trailer’s braking system is performing against demand. The reports can produce data on a daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis. In the event of underperforming brakes, an EBPMS alerts the user, prompting for action to be taken and remedy any defects.
An EBPMS not only ensures that you meet all safety, compliance, and maintenance requirements it also improves trailer efficiency and enables you to keep your trailer operational It also eliminates the necessity for mandated loaded roller brake tests saving you downtime as it produces a live break test report.
